I Health Requirements:
1.Between the ages of 21-29 years old
2.Have a body mass index below 27.5
3.At least 5 feet tall
4.Have both ovaries
5.Have regular menstrual periods
6.Free of genetic disorder diagnosis.
7.General clean bill of health
II Lifestyle Requirements:
1.Do not use tobacco
2.No history of substance abuse
3 Family History Requirements
3.Able to obtain up to date family history and health status
4.No history of multi generational familial diagnoses such as inheritable cancer, heart disease before age 55, various genetic disorders, etc.
III Other Requirements:
1.Some education beyond high school or success in chosen career path
2.Willingness to complete medical and psychological screening
3.Willingness to use injectable medications
4.Flexible schedule for appointments and traveling as needed
Register
The first step is to complete an application, which you can request by filling up the below form, send us an email at eggdonation@amcanfertility.com, or call (949)886-5206. Once your application is accepted, our donor specialist will contact you to walk you through the donating process and give you chance to ask any questions.
Medical screening
Once you’re accepted by AmCan Egg Bank or selected by the recipients, you will undergo a medical screening. Our team will arrange genetic testing, bloodwork, ultrasounds, and psychological evaluations.
Legal process
After you passes all prescreening and is medically approved, we will assist both parties in starting the legal process. The legal part of the process involves a contract that begins with the recipients and their attorney, and then moves to a you and your attorney.
Medication and Egg Retrieval
The IVF clinic will provide you with a tentative schedule with the dates of your appointments and the protocol with your medications. At the beginning of the cycle, a nurse coordinator will instruct you on how to administer medications. At the end of two weeks, we will perform the egg retrieval.
